Grow a little extra. Give a lot of good. Waste Free Greenwich, in partnership with Food Rescue US, Fairfield County, Greenwich Land Trust and Greenwich Audubon invite local gardeners to donate a portion of your homegrown produce to hunger relief efforts in our community. Whether you’re growing on a patio or a whole backyard, every little bit will help our neighbors in need.
Prolific peas? Lots of lettuce? Zucchini galore? Simply drop off your home garden abundance at a drop site during the season:
Wednesdays (10-1) Greenwich Land Trust, 370 Round Hill Rd, Greenwich
Wednesdays (2:30-6) Waste Free Greenwich’s tent at the Old Greenwich Farmer’s Market, 38 West End Ave, Old Greenwich
Thursdays (10-3) Greenwich Audubon, 613 Riversville Road, Greenwich
Food Rescue US, Fairfield County volunteers will bring your produce to Neighbor to Neighbor to increase food security in our community.
