Zero Waste Potluck Picnic

Did you enjoy our Zero Waste Dinner? Well, you'll love our upcoming Zero Waste Potluck Picnic! We're heading to the beach to celebrate sustainable living, community connection, and creative scrappy cooking at Greenwich Point.

📅 When: Tuesday, September 8, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

📍 Where: Greenwich Point Clambake Area

REGISTER HERE

How It Works:

🍲 Bring a dish to share : Cook up your favorite summer recipe and pack a dish to share with friends and neighbors.

🍽️ Reusables only: To keep this event truly zero waste, please bring your own reusable service ware & plates and durable cutlery. No disposables, please! 🚫🥤

What We'll Provide:

🌻 We've Got the Vibe Covered: No need to bring picnic decor - we’ll provide the tablecloths, napkins and fresh flower arrangements to set the table!

🍹 Enjoy drinks on us: We’ll handle the hydration! Refreshing non-alcoholic beverages will be served in reusable glassware. 🥂

Enter the "Scrappy Chef" Contest!

🥕Got a knack for zero-waste cooking? Get creative in the kitchen! Any dish made with oft-discarded, "scrappy" ingredients - like carrot tops, broccoli stems, stale bread, or orange rinds - will be entered into our contest to win fun prizes. Show us how delicious waste reduction can be!

Need some inspiration? Check out the fabulous recipes on Food Waste Feast or books from some of our favorite chefs:

Whether you're entering a scrappy culinary masterpiece or just coming to enjoy good conversation by the water, we’d love to see you there. Bring a dish, pack your reusables, and help us turn waste reduction into community celebration! 🧺✨
