Join Waste Free Greenwich for our first-ever Zero Waste Dinner, an unforgettable evening of "all taste, no waste" where gourmet dining meets sustainable innovation.
Enjoy a multi-course feast prepared by local celebrity chefs, featuring dishes crafted from surplus or reinvented ingredients that would otherwise be discarded, proving that delicious food and zero waste go hand-in-hand. From the natural table décor to the eco-friendly service ware, every detail is designed to delight your senses and inspire new habits without creating waste.
The main event of the evening is the "Tossed" Zero Waste Cooking Competition, where Greenwich's top chefs will face off in a sustainable showdown, turning scrappy ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The Waste Free Greenwich team, including event co-chairs Anne Drake and Sara Keller, will guide guests through the program to inspire waste free practices. Discover how Dr. Manasa Mantravadi of Ahimsa is transforming school lunch with reusable trays. Celebrate with us as we present Sally Davies with a lifetime Waste Warrior Award, and take in live music from Rick Crossman.
For five years, Waste Free Greenwich has been a driving force for change in our community. Now, it's time to celebrate our collective impact and build a greener tomorrow in Greenwich. Proceeds from the evening will support the mission of Waste Free Greenwich, as well as benefit Food Rescue US, Fairfield County.
Don't miss this chance to eat, celebrate, and create a waste-free future for our community!
If you prefer a vegan entree, please email info@wastefreegreenwich.org.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, September 15 at Eventbrite.
